Cattleya Peckaviensis
Cattleya schilleriana 'Rivermont' x Cattleya aclandiae 'Krull's Black Star'
Cattleya Peckaviensis is a fantastic hybrid between two of our favorite species - C. schilleriana and C. aclandiae. Both of these are relatively compact species that are known for their highly fragrant nature, broad showy lips, and deep maroon spots. C. schilleriana beings in showier patterns to the broad lip, gives us a higher flower count, and bigger flowers. C. aclandiae keeps the plant even more compact and pushes it to bloom multiple times per year. These will give a wonderful fragrance to your collection year-round.
This diploid cross is made with C. schilleriana 'Rivermont' which has one of the broadest lips we have ever seen and C. aclandiae 'Black Star', a nigrescens variety of C. aclandiae which has nearly black sepals and petals. Plants are near flowering size in 3" pots and flowering size in 6" pots.
