The American Orchid Society and its judging program have been the pillars of the orchid community for over a century and have given direction to the entirety of orchid breeding all over the world. The advances in form, color, floriferousness, size, and more have all been gently led along by the American Orchid Society, and we would not have such a thriving orchid community today without them. As a way to give back and to get more orchid growers involved with the judging process, we're announcing a fun new initiative to further reward hobbyists getting into the world of orchid judging. Anyone who receives an award on a plant bred by us will be eligible to receive a $45 plant credit per award towards any number of our plants! Our first participant in this is Tony Casler with his first bloom seedling of our remake of Paphiopedilum Wössner Black Wings. You can see the awarded Paph. All we need is a clear picture of you with your orchid along with the award number! All are welcome to bring a plant to judging whether they are part of any orchid society or not. You can look up judging events in your area by clicking here.
