Phalaenopsis gigantea is one of the most famous species in the genus for its massive leaves that can get over two feet in length! These make large specimen plants unlike anything else in the genus and are made even more impressive by the up to three foot long pendulous inflorescences covered with dozens of fragrant flowers (especially in the morning). The flowers range from cream to white with red to burgundy spots or stippling. Plants are well established in 3" pots, near flowering size in 5" pots with a leafspan of 10"+, and flowering size in 6" pots with a leafspan of 12"+ and plants will have a minimum of three leaves.
