We originally thought that this was a remake of Cattleya Pittiae, but after checking with the Royal Horticultural Society, Cattleya Pittiae was registered as C. harrisoniana x C. schilleriana. This hybrid had never been registered before! So now, we would like to introduce you to Cattleya Krull-Smith, the primary hybrid between Cattleya loddigesii and Cattleya schilleriana! In this case, we have used high quality, tetraploid parents to make a grex that we're sure is going to put out fantastic seedlings, just check out the first seedling to bloom above! We're expecting very deep, intense pinks/magentas with beautiful spotting on the sepals and petals along with wonderfully marked lips. Plants are near flowering size in 3" pots.
