Phalaenopsis Samera is the primary hybrid between Phal. bellina and Phal. violacea with this particular remake of the hybrid skewing heavily towards the bellina parent. I believe these were made with two delicata-type parents with the hope of making light pink Samera. Although we didn't get the light pinks, we got some beautiful flowers with green tips, a white center, and magenta markings that will be easy to grow with a wonderful fragrance and as with most novelty Phalaenopsis, these will be sequential bloomers. Plants are flowering size in 3" pots.
