This new hybrid should be nearly bullet proof! Cymbidium Australian Midnight is already a great grower for us and shows off with 40 nearly black flowers per inflorescence with our most recent award on one boasting fourteen inflorescences! Cymbidium crassifolium is going to be a very hardy grower that will have no problem with either getting too hot or drying out - add this to the wonderfully two-toned flowers with the contrasting red and white and you've got a great combination. We expect these to flower with deep red flowers that may have a thin white picotee around the edges of the flower. These plants will thrive on benign neglect and will reward you for it with dozens of flowers per inflorescence. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
