This is going to be a fantastic primary hybrid! Bulbophyllum macrobulbum is undoubtedly one of our favorite Bulbophyllum species with relatively large flowers, on plants that flower multiple times per year, with a fantastic array of colors - in this case we have some great reds, oranges, and golds in 'Krull's Masterpiece' FCC/AOS. Bulbophyllum cruentum on the other hand is the smallest growing species in section Macrobulbon with plants that generally max out at 4" tall. Bulbophyllum cruentum has deep maroon/burgundy flowers that approach being black. We are hoping to see very deeply colored flowers on compact growing plants that will flower multiple times per year. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
