Cattleya Milpurat is a wonderful primary hybrid between Cattleya purpurata and Cattleya milleri that produce wonderful, velvety red to magenta flowers on tall inflorescences with 6-10 flowers each. In this case the Cattleya purpurata parent is the sanguinea color form of the species and will result in even darker examples of this gorgeous hybrid as well as increasing the flower size, hardiness, and number of inflorescences. Cattleya milleri will bring down the plant size and send the flowers above the foliage along with increasing the flower count per inflorescence. Plants are near flowering size in 3" pots.
