Cattleya (Laelia) purpurata is a gorgeous species from Brazil that is famous for its floriferousness and for creating huge displays when all of its flowers open at once! This is one of the most iconic species in the genus and has a huge following from collectors for all of its many color forms. These plants should bring us some gorgeous and deeply colored sanguinea type flowers that are sure to put on a show! These seedlings have been treated with Oryzalin to induce polyploidy to hopefully create larger, more intensely colored flowers with flatter, fuller form. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
