Cattleya tenebrosa is a gorgeous and showy Cattleya (formerly Laelia) species from Brazil that is known for its large copper-colored flowers with an intense, deep purple lip. These plants grow to become very showy specimen plants with some plants showing off with nearly 8" wide flowers! These seedlings have been treated with Oryzalin to induce polyploidy to hopefully create larger, more intensely colored flowers with flatter, fuller form. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
