We have a fun new exploratory hybrid in the making here! Vanda barnesii is still a very uncommon species in cultivation today and as such, not much breeding has been done with it, so there isn't a lot of information as to how it breeds, but it seems to at the very least be pretty dominant with its white background color. Vanda cristata on the other hand tends to breed bright red lips in its progeny! The hope here is undoubtedly white flowers with big showy red lips on plants that are tolerant of cool weather as well as the heat. Can't wait to see blooms on these! Plants will be shipped as well-acclimated bare root seedlings.
