Cattleya velutina is a gorgeous and rarely offered species from Brazil that makes gorgeous specimen plants! Cattleya velutina can produce over a dozen flowers per inflorescence with a fantastic fragrance and beautiful gold to bronze flowers lightly spotted maroon with a bright white lip delicately veined purple or magenta with a lovely blushed picotee that matched the sepal and petal color. These plants have been treated as seeds to try to induce polyploidy. Plants are flowering size in 3" pots.
