Cattleya lueddemanniana f. coerulea venosa (Treated) (1705)
Cattleya lueddemanniana f. coerulea venosa ('Jordon's Nala' x 'Cassie's Delight' FCC/AOS)
Cattleya lueddemanniana is one of our favorite labiate Cattleya and is a showy and easy to grow species from Venezuela that is known to flower multiple times per year, but especially in spring, with large, fragrant flowers. These are the coerulea color form of the species and about 75% of all the ones that have bloomed from this grex have shown a delicate array of veins through the flower that develops after about a week of being open. Some of these have been coming out with very little color in the lip making them loop almost like a concolor coerulea, while others are giving us some of the darkest lips we've seen yet in the species! These plants are treated to potentially induce polyploidy. Plants are flowering size in 6" pots.
