Bulbophyllum thiurum is a species that was only ever found in one location and is now thought to be extinct in the wild. It is a shame since this truly is a fantastic species - the leaves have always stayed below four inches in our plants, but the flowers can get over 5 inches long! On top of that, they can bloom almost year-round. This is a wonderful species that can be grown both potted or mounted. Plants are near flowering size in 3" pots.
