This remake of Cattleya Canaima's First was made using a striata form of Cattleya violacea and a carnea form of Cattleya purpurata. The result so far has given us flowers with white sepals and petals along with some blushing or striations on the petals and very dark lips! Only a few have flowered from this batch so far, but we are excited to see more in the near future. These plants were treated with colchicine to induce polyploidy and we hope to see some fantastic seedlings from this group. Plants are near flowering size in 4" pots.
