Vanda floresensis is a relatively new species to science with it only being described in 2021! This species is only found on Flores Island in Indonesia and gives us beautiful red to burnt orange flowers with darker maroon spots and a magenta or red patch at the base of the column. The parent here, 'Krull's Ruby', is a particularly intensely red floresensis with larger spots than usual and a pure red column base. These are seedlings in a flask that are ready to be planted out with approximately 35 seedlings per flask
